Our creators are our bread and butter, and we want to make the registration process as quick and easy as possible for our new creators!
[1] Visit the creator registration page and enter your email, display name, name, and password.
All of the content except the display name will be private (not shared with any of your sponsors). We recommend keeping your display name to something short and sweet, as it will be used for your custom profile page link. For example, the display name "Electric Blue Alpaca" will become https://sponsee.me/electricbluealpaca once you create and account and set up your profile.
[2] Set up your profile description, summary, and location
These are very important for building a good profile - your profile description will be shown at the top of your profile, and should contain a summary of what you do and the type of content you create. Feel free to get creative with it!
You also have a "Location" field - please note that this WILL be shared with sponsors, so we recommend you keep it vague for privacy reasons (e.g. USA or Texas, not 123 Main Street).
The last field is your summary, which is a quick word or phrase that describes what you are (Influencer, Creator, etc are good summaries)
[3] Set up your gender, preferences, and content categories
In order to help sponsors find content they will be interested in, we encourage you to share your gender identity. This is entirely optional, but will assist in growing your brand. You can also select your preferences (and can select multiple!).
There is also a categories selection. You can pick what "categories" of content you fit into. If none of them fit you, don't worry! You can contact us and we can likely add a category for you.
[4] Set up your profile picture and background images
Time to add some more personal flair! You can add a profile picture and up to 6 background images. Background images will be shown on your profile, and will also be shown on your discover profile. We HIGHLY recommend adding at least 3 background photos.
[5] Complete age verification and onboarding
That's all we need from you for now! We'll contact you via email with a quick request for age verifying documentation. All documents will be verified with BlueCheck quickly and securely. Once we verify your age, we will unlock your account and you're good to go! This process usually takes under 24 hours.
[6] Set up tiers and add social media accounts
Now that your account is all ready for you, you can log-in here and access your account. The first thing you'll want to do is access your "Creator Dashboard". You can find this by clicking on the Money icon.
From here, you'll want to click on the Socials tab and link your social media accounts if you have any to advertise on your profile.
Now, you'll want to set up your tiers. Tiers are how sponsors will select what type of content they would like to unlock from you, and are typically billed on a monthly basis. Sponsors subscribe to a tier, and will unlock whatever features you decide to attach to that tiers. This can be exclusive Sponsee-only posts, social media account access, and/or Sponsee chat access.
After you create a tier, you cannot remove social media access from the tier, so make sure you set it up properly the first time! If you have any trouble setting up / modifying tiers, feel free to contact us and we can help you sort it out.
[7] Post something! (optional)
Sponsors will want to see that you're active on Sponsee - and getting some posts out there will get your name out there! Head to the (+) icon to create your first post. Posts can have images / videos attached, a quick description, and can be locked to certain sponsors. If you decide to lock a post to certain sponsors, it will be blurred from all non-sponsors, and any non-sponsors will have the option to sponsor you to unlock the post.
